Since 1977, Christopher Smith and his Glaskrafter Art Glass Studio have been creating fine art glass that blends craftsmanship with a deep appreciation for nature and form.

Today, Christopher’s work focuses primarily on kiln-cast glass, with a special emphasis on his remarkable cast glass salmon—a series that has garnered awards and recognition for its artistry and technical excellence.

His cast glass salmon sculptures are featured in more than ten galleries, resorts, and museums spanning from Tofino to La Conner, Washington, celebrated for their luminous detail and lifelike energy.

Previously, Christopher designed and created stained-glass windows, skylights, doors, and entryways, as well as a wide range of kiln-worked, sand-carved, and fused glass. Today, his studio practice is devoted primarily to kiln-cast glass sculpture.
